“I was brought up in a single parent home. At 22 years old, my mum had a fatal crash. We never really touched the topic about my father, we avoided talking about him. One day my mum was killed in a car accident. Since her death 8 years ago, I have not still found any answers from any of my relatives or friends! They did not really know. I always assumed, some of them knew-I was wrong. I really wish I had known better... Since adopting My Life, I am glad I found a platform to write my story, to reflect and grow a stronger person. Hope no one else goes through this emotional torture!” Julie, Tampa USA
“I simply have lost faith in humanity. I have known my friend for over 10 years, since University. I have been there for her through thick and thin. Suddenly, I moved house with my husband and kids, she visited once and decide to go abroad and work. She did not even tell me! Over a year later, she writes to apologise and said it was the devil. What am I missing, here? A tinge of jealousy? I am weary now and careful who my friends are”. Elizabeth, London
“Only being thirty plus and diagnosed with a rare condition was shocking. Thankfully, I have found this medium to express my feelings, my thoughts and my experience. It is calming to know that I can create something unique for my kids to always keep and remember me the way I want to be remembered” Paddy, Dartford
“If you have a hangover. Try a banana smoothie with a fresh lemon juice and honey. It works! Happy, Lincoln
“I am one of six children. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a serious condition. I have been in hospital, and still make several hospital visits. What baffles me is the fact that only one of my three brothers has been supportive. The other two brothers and two sisters, know, but have never picked up the phone to ask how I am. This baffles me as to the extent of human wickedness. More especially as three of them claim to be Christian. Am I alone or can someone shade more light?” Lucy, Bordeaux
“My little daughter, at the age of seven going eight years old has grown a lot of hairs and looking seemingly mature! Is there something in the water system or what. I cannot remember myself, growing physically.” Worried Momsy
“Some people never seem to grow into true adults. One wonders, if this has anything to do with a rushed childhood? Nicola, Milton Keynes
“My Dad passed on aged 79 years old. He never really knew his birthday. Apparently, my grandmother who was not educated, did not take note of her birth in 1925. We did not really celebrate birthdays for him. Having settled in the U.K., and have my own little boy. Everyone says how much he looks like my dada. I keep wondering what attributes of my Dad that my son has inherited. For this simple reason I am determined to keep up my own My Life book-kit. Determined my little boy (whatever happens) will always have something of me and my husband to read, keep and cherished. Hopefully pass on to generations when I am not here!” Paul, Birmingham
“My fiancé told me he is not really a fireman. He got sacked and was embarrassed to tell me! What shall I do? Kick him out and keep him? Helpless Miss, Berkshire
“I run a restaurant. I cannot tell you how many times it gets me, grinding my teeth, when food critics go on negatively, about a restaurant! Who are these people, anyway? I would like to see how good most of them are under pressure. Mr. X, Edinburgh
“Life is good! I went out with my first real boyfriend for five years. I was deeply in love with him, but for his violent part. I met another fantastic guy who proposed marriage and dumped me all within a year. I completely took a break from relationship.. Or thought I would. Then ten months later, I met the most caring, loving man. I really thought that I would never meet ‘a good man’ ever again. We got married a year later and have the most loving marriage, I could have wished for!” Jenny, Florida USA
“My fiancée and I are busy planning our wedding for the summer. I feel as if I have been pushed aside. She has completely taken control of the whole organizing stuff. Normal or just me?” Andrew, Isle of Wight
